In partnership with Compassion International we currently have 150 children that have sponsors for their schooling and health needs.
We aim to build a positive community by bringing hope and a positive future to their families and communities. We can achieve this goal through operating a Child Development Centre where the children attend a holistic program four times a week that provides and develops their spiritual, socio-emotional, intellectual and physical needs.
We are overwhelmed at the testimonies from the children and their families about how their lives have been impacted. The kids are now able to go to school, have regular health checkups, learn english and have a full healthy meal once a week.
They also now have the opportunity to learn music, participate in sports, computer classes, art classes, hip hop classes and singing lessons and a photography course is soon to come!
Please note that Compassion International fund the education components of the program while Arms of Love fund the delivery of extra curricular activities, meals and health checks.
Arms of Love also provide a warm and welcoming environment for the families of students, where they get to know families and identify if they need assistance.
